National Account Development Manager

Industrial Distribution

KAMAN Industrial Technologies currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced and results-oriented National  ACCOUNT Sales DEVELOPMENT MANAGER with experience in industrial distribution and strong Excel skills..

 

Major responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for managing current national accounts within a defined territory, providing service to existing clients, renewing and negotiating contracts and targeting new accounts for sales growth to ensure that KIT strategic sales goals are met. 
  • Targets opportunities within national accounts for sales development and implementation of Kaman’s programs and services.
  • Updates programs and presentations for national accounts, keeping KIT in forefront of providing solutions for customer needs.
  • Maintain the positive relationship with accounts, communicate activities, and provide reports to customers and department.  In conjunction with marketing, develop strategies and campaigns, and make sales presentations and sales calls on current accounts. 

 

Experience and Education

  • 8 years of sales experience and strong presentation skills, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Power transmission, Electrical, Motion Control, and/or Fluid Power product experience is ideal.
  • BS degree in business or equivalent work experience.

Skills/Abilities Essential to the Position

    • PROVEN negotiation skills
    • POLISHED presentation skills
    • Sales management abilities
    • Ability to interact well with high level management
    • Ability to handle / manage several projects
    • Strong communication skills (listening, verbal, written.)
    • Strong MS Office skills required.

Requirements

Experience and Education
