This position will work in our Windsor, CT headquarters.

Summary:  This role will meets sales and marketing objectives to increase site traffic, develop ebusiness relationships and generate new sales opportunities by creating, implementing, and evaluating Web-based sales, promotion, and customer relationship strategies.  You will focus Web marketing operations by monitoring competitor sites; collecting and analyzing information and conducting test marketing studies, as well as evaluating message effectiveness.

 

Responsibilities:

 

1.    Establish Web strategy by researching, analyzing, and defining customer requirements; identifying target customers; analyzing competitors' offerings; studying company objectives for the product line; identifying strategic content partnerships.

 

2.    Reinforce Kaman brand position online by studying the company’s product & service offering; analyzing customer motivations, interests, and needs; creating site content; negotiating and coordinating content partnerships.  Enhance organization reputation by fostering innovation; exploring opportunities to add value.

 

3.    Manage Web design process by defining Web objective; evaluating potential designs; communicating with designers; testing site organization and navigability understanding technology capabilities of customers.

 

4.    Work with Marketing, eBusiness, Sales and Product Management teams to develop and implement various Web-based initiatives.

 

5.    Make recommendations for improvements, efficiencies to processes, and other customer-facing Web enhancements.

 

6.    Maintain optimal user experience by evaluating e-mail feedback; studying user page views; assessing message effectiveness; conducting surveys and performing A/B testing.

 

7.    Partner closely with multiple departments in order to create Web-based marketing programs that serve the needs of customers while meeting internal business requirements.  Partner closely with these same groups during various testing phases with regard to setting up, testing and implementing scheduled programs and enhancements.

 

8.    Prepare and issue reports to management by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing Web data and trends and tracking activity.

 

9.      Discover Web marketing opportunities by researching and analyzing e-commerce market and sales data.  Monitor and maintain strategic relationships with Web content and marketing partners.

 

10.    Track Web competition by identifying competitor sites; conduct competitive shopping; gather information on pricing, new products, delivery schedules, and service arrangements.  Make recommendations and implement changes in order to maintain competitive position

 

11.   Promote Web site by coordinating announcement in print and media ads; register with search engines; create banner ads and link exchange affiliates; analyze and create ways to increase traffic to the site.

 

12.  Prepare Web publicity strategy by researching, analyzing, and identifying needs and interests; studying publicity goals; assessing user characteristics.  Implement news campaigns by repurposing and disseminating news releases.

 

13.  Maintain Web site by upgrading content and design; monitoring customer use. Develop new, targeted Web sites and “microsites” by identifying and developing new markets and user audiences.

 

14.   Provide a high level of service to all internal and external customers.

 

15.   Perform other duties as assigned.  Accomplishes related results as needed.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Education – BA degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent work experience.

 

Experience  4 years of customer-focused, environment in a distribution/technology B2B industry. Proven understanding of leading edge technology and how it can be utilized to build customer relationships and increase sales in an industrial environment.
