Summary


This position will execute process improvement through lean/six sigma skills, focusing on functional Supply Chain Management projects, thus improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the company’s core processes (e.g. purchase-to pay).


 


Responsibilities


 




  • Lead cross-functional teams focused on implementing supply chain and functional operations solutions
  • Use Six Sigma/Lean toolset for effective problem solving.
  • Lead strategic projects  including development of project scope, goals, work plans, timelines and implementation strategies
  • Identify resource requirements and coordinate support among multiple functional areas. Plan and manage multiple related projects including, cost/benefit analysis of proposals, estimation of budgets, timelines, and resources required for successful and timely completion of projects.
  • Measure processes/methods for assessing progress towards goals and project outcomes.
  • Create proper business process design and approach.


  • Organize multiple concurrent projects and work cross-functionally with managers and other leaders.


  • Develop project presentations, status reports, and measurement processes/standards in support of the staff.
  • Monitors and analyzes data and trends to identify potential opportunities, needs, issues, and problems that could impact business results. 
  • Understands customer needs/issues in defining quality and establishing quality priorities.
  • Understands how to break down work into process steps, develops schedules, and works well within time constraints.  
  • Works with Benefits Tracker to identify each project's financial impact and savings over a period of time. 


  • Translate business requirements to system/application solutions


  • Build Cost Benefit Analysis' in support of project selection process.
  • Maintains strong business relationships with leadership team and delivers presentations summarizing project findings to executive audiences.  
  • Breaks down organizational barriers to ensure that project teams are effective in reaching project resolution.

Qualifications    


 



  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Finance, Engineering Technology and or related field or equivalent experience
  • Lean/Sigma  supply chain project experience (black belt preferred)
  • Minimum 5 years experience of operations, customer service or supply chain
  • Minimum three years of Process Improvement experience (Six Sigma/Lean Approach) .


  • Experience Minitab and Minitab Solutions-Quality Companion
  • Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel)
